Transforming a Mechanic's Shop

From the very first day of this project - we were excited to show the client what the end result would be. This 5400sqft area was a mechanic's shop specifically for trucks and as a result, the magnitude of oil and dirt on the surface of the concrete and even absorbed into the concrete was significant.

Our client did tell us that they originally had hired a crew to power wash and degrease the entire area and although that did make a difference, that doesn't get rid of the years and years of build-up of oil and dirt. As soon as we got to work grinding the concrete, the years worth of dirt and oil began to lift off before our eyes and before our client's eyes.

The difference between what we had to start with and the end result was truly extraordinary and I'm happy to say that this client was a happy one. But as you can tell, we were just one piece of the puzzle to this transformation - it's amazing to see what a fresh, new floor can do to a space! Our client opted for a traditional grey epoxy with a light broadcast of black, white, and grey flakes throughout.

Not only does this floor look great - it is going to last. The 100% solid and industrial grade epoxy will stand the test of time and provide a sleek surface that is easy to clean and maintain over the years.
